Welcome to The Anthony J. Sylvestri III Memorial Scholarship Fund honoring the life of
Anthony “Tony” Sylvestri who passed away of a rare cancer on June 19, 2018.
Life is not the same without him and he is greatly missed.  Tony’s strong belief in education makes establishing this scholarship fund meaningful in keeping Tony’s memory alive in a way he would want to be remembered.

 

About Anthony

Tony was a graduate of Pascack Valley High School in Hillsdale, New Jersey, graduating class of 1980.  He treasured the lifelong friendships from his high school years sharing legendary stories and memorable experiences with our family.  His legacy will continue through the students who benefit from this award.  Contributions to this fund will be need based; offering financial assistance to a graduating senior towards his or her higher education.  Funds will be issued to a student or students graduating Pascack Valley High School beginning June 2019.

Tony lived life to the fullest with his wife Maria.  He loved his family and his grand-dog that never left his side from the minute he walked through the door.  His nieces, nephews, and only God-daughter held a special place in his heart and he loved all of them in their own special way.  Anthony “Tony” Sylvestri was a hard-working man who over his lifetime often missed family events, dinners, reunions etc.  However, his loyalty, dedication, and commitment to his job made him great and he is the kind of man the world needs more of.  We have lost a truly incredible man who was loved by many and will be missed by all.
